A humanist funeral is a non-religious funeral that can offer a personal and fitting way to say goodbye to those who have lived without religion.
To honour the person who has died, focusing on the life they led, the relationships they forged, and the legacy they left.
For me it is a huge part of the healing process, sharing stories together to ensure all the values, virtues and experiences of the individual are captured.
It is a positive process, being able to share and laugh about things.
It's such a strange time, so intense, when you lose someone you love, but it can be positive. It can bring you together by refocussing on what made that person unique.
Together we can create a tribute to your loved ones that they would be rightfully proud of.
